Tucker Valley runs by Pendleton County for 32-12 Win

FRANKLIN – The Wildcats Football team traveled to Pendleton County on Wednesday September 18th. Tucker Valley built a 26-0 lead and took the victory by the final score of 32-12.

In the first quarter Tucker Valley scored on a Maddox Anderson run to make the score 6-0 early on. Tucker Valley then scored in the second quarter on a 50 yard touchdown pass from Racer Channell to Ashton Lycliter to make the score 12-0. Lycliter then scored again for Tucker Valley on a 5 yard touchdown run to make the halftime score 20-0.

Tucker Valley would get another score in the third quarter as Lycliter got into the endzone again on a 5 yard run to push the lead to 26-0 Tucker Valley. In the fourth quarter Pendleton County scored 2 times with the Tucker Valley starters out. Tucker Valley added a score in the fourth quarter on a 50 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Lycliter to make the final score 32-12 Tucker Valley.

Tucker Valley’s Garrett Wilfong had several receptions in the passing game while Gavin Mullenax and Mark Phillips led the Tucker Valley defense in tackles.
