The Tucker Valley Wildcats boys’ basketball teams opened their 2025 season on the road in dominant fashion, earning a clean sweep over the Pendleton County Wildcats.

The JV Wildcats kicked off the night with a thrilling 35–32 victory, holding off a late Pendleton surge to secure the season-opening win. Tucker Valley had balanced scoring and poise under pressure, with a highlighted performance from Wolford, who led all scorers with 13 points. Additional scoring came from: Hyre 7 points, Arnett 5 points, and Dillard with 5 points.

The varsity Wildcats delivered an even more commanding show, overpowering Pendleton 45–13 in an exhibit of offensive firepower and defensive lockdown.

Bowley set the tone with a dominant 23-point outing, attacking the basket and controlling the pace throughout the game. Teter added 9 points, while Holland contributed 6, rounding out a team effort.

Tucker Valley’s defense smothered Pendleton from start to finish, limiting scoring opportunities and creating turnovers that turned into fast-break points. By halftime, the Wildcats had already built a sizeable lead and never looked back.
