The TVMS volleyball teams hit the court on Wednesday for a competitive showdown against South Preston, with both the Varsity and JV squads giving solid performances through each set.

The Varsity match started off with a tough first set for Tucker, as South Preston came out strong, claiming the set 25–19. Top server Mia Lambert helped set the tone early in the second set. Tucker bounced back with determination and focus, dominating 25–3. Ally Wright also helped lead the way with both delivering key aces and solid serves that kept South Preston on the defensive side.

In the deciding third set, Tucker maintained momentum and closed out the match with a 25–18 victory. Maci Owens led the way, earning top scorer honors and helping to secure the win for Tucker.

Tucker’s JV squad also took to the court with intensity. The first set saw strong serving performances from Maci Owens and Mya Adams, helping the team to a 25–13 win.

The second set was a tighter contest, with Tucker narrowly edging out South Preston 25–22. Makenna Hackney and Kyndyll Showalter were the top servers of the set, delivering consistent play under pressure.
