WILDCATS END SEASON WITH BIG 35-0 WIN OVER ELKINS MIDDLE

PARSONS – The Tucker Valley Middle School Football team hosted Elkins Middle on Wednesday October 19th in their last game of the season.  The Wildcats dominated the game to get the win by the final score of 35-0.

 

Tucker Valley got on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a Ethan Cummings 65 yard touchdown run. The Wildcats would get another score in the first quarter on a Luke Barb 25 yard touchdown pass to Cayden Arnold to make the score 14-0 Tucker Valley after one quarter of play.

 

The homestanding Wildcats would add to their lead in the second quarter as Barb rushed 7 yards for a touchdown to push the Tucker Valley lead to 20-0 at the halftime break.

 

Cayden Arnold would add a score for Tucker Valley in the third on a 2 yard touchdown run to make the score 28-0 after three quarters.  The Wildcats then added another score in the fourth to put the game away as Evan Witt scored on a 6 yard touchdown run to put the final score at 35-0 Tucker Valley.

 

Luke Barb led Tucker Valley with 98 yards rushing and Ethan Cummings finished with 87 yards rushing for the Wildcats.  Cayden Arnold added 27 yards rushing and 25 yards receiving, while Evan Witt had 30 yards rushing for Tucker Valley.  Before the game the Tucker Valley 8th grade football players and cheerleaders were honored.  Tucker Valley ended the season with a 3-5 record.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
