PETERSBURG – The Tucker Valley Middle School Football team traveled to Petersburg on Thursday October 14th. Tucker Valley exploded for 28 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to capture a 34-6 road victory.
The homestanding Vikings would score first as they led 6-0 after one quarter of play. Tucker Valley answered back in the second quarter on a 65 yard touchdown pass from Sam Marks to Reid Kisamore. The PAT was no good to make the score 6-6 at the halftime break.
The third quarter would start and end with the score the same 6-6. The fourth quarter would belong to the visiting Wildcats as they scored early and often in the period. Luke Barb scored on a 2 yard touchdown run and the PAT was no good to give Tucker Valley the 12-6 lead. Then Luke Barb would score again on a 10 yard touchdown run and the PAT was good to make the score 20-6 Wildcats.
Tucker Valley then got a score from Mickey Mitchell on a 15 yard touchdown run the 2 point conversion was good to push the Wildcat lead to 28-6. Tucker Valley then ended the scoring for the game on a Marks 25 yard touchdown pass to Cameron Judy. The PAT was no good to make the final score 34-6 Tucker Valley.
Tucker Valley will travel to host Tygarts Valley on Wednesday October 20th for 6pm game. The Wildcats will then host Capon Bridge on Saturday October 23rd at 2pm. For more info visit TuckerCountySports.Com.
