The Parsons Parks and Recreation completed the first phase of renovations on the Parsons Community Center, located at 96 Parkwood Lane, Parsons; formerly the Pentecostal Outreach Ministry Church building.
It is handicapped compliant and will comfortably hold approximately 100 people. It has a main hall area with stage, two bathrooms, dining area, a small kitchen area, tables, chairs, and free public wifi. This space is perfect for wedding receptions, birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, reunions, meetings, and training classes.
The PPRC plans to start on the second phase of renovations on the exterior of the building next year.
The rental fees are $100 for a full day rental from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., $50 for a half day rental from 7 a.m. to 3 p..m. or 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. All rentals are subject to a $50 damage deposit.
