According to a press release from the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday, June 4, at approximately 7:14 p.m., officers were advised by Tucker County Communications to be on the lookout for an alleged reckless driver operating a green Ford van traveling north on US219 going towards Parsons. Shortly after, officers were dispatched to Sheetz, located in Parsons, where the reported green van had stopped. Officers were further advised that the driver of the van, David Matthew Clark, was allegedly displaying a firearm out the window of the vehicle.
Clark was accompanied by his significant other, Mary Violet Losi. As officers arrived at the scene and began an investigation, the officers discovered multiple weapons among Clark and Losi person, as well as inside their vehicle. Both were placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct; Possession of marijuana; Persons Prohibited from possession of weapon; driving suspended, Unlawful methods of hunting and conspiracy to violate Chapter 20. Clark and Losi were transported to Tygart Valley Regional Jail to await arraignment.
