Thomas, West Virginia – Thomas Volunteer Fire Department (T.V.F.D.) has been selected to be the site of a Christmas Toy Give Away. All families with children 12 years old and under from the Thomas, Davis, Benbush, Pierce, Leadmine and surrounding communities are eligible to participate. No income eligibility is required. A spokesperson for the donors said “all children are eligible and will receive gifts”.
These toys are being supplied by private individuals and donors, not the Thomas Volunteer Fire Department.
On Sunday afternoon, December 18 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the T.V.F.D., parents may come and pick up toys for their children to receive on Christmas morning or they can bring their children along to see Santa and will receive toys. The toys will be given on a first come, first serve basis until all are given away.
