The Knights of Columbus District free-throw competition was held at Tucker Valley Middle School on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Contestants represented Knights of Columbus Councils from Elkins, Weston, Bridgeport, Clarksburg and Thomas. Medals were presented to the first place winners of each age division by the State Deputy of the Knights of Columbus, Gerald Somazze.
Tucker County first place winners were: Gracie Filler, Trevor Adams, Malachi Poe, Ethan Rosenau, Olivia Triplett, Jayden Kuhn and Autumn Russell.
The District winners will compete in the State competition to be held in Weston, at St. Patrick’s Gym, on Sunday, March 5.
