The Tucker County Commission approves a proclamation declaring May 10 as National Service Recognition Day during their Wednesday meeting.
Commissioners thank members of the AmeriCorps and SeniorCorps for their dedication and commitment. Those present include Stephen Struthers who teaches STEAM education at Tucker County High School, Dominic Piacentini who works half time at the Mountain Arts District and half time at the Tucker County Cultural District, Katie Teems who works with New Historic Thomas, the Tucker County Planning Commission and the Tucker County Development Authority, Donna Stiles who works with PRO On Trac and AFHA Assistant Director Logan Smith.
