SNOWSHOE – The Mt. Lions Golf team traveled to Snowshoe Resort to play the Raven Golf Course on Monday August 21st.
Tygarts Valley won the match with a team score of 192. Petersburg took second with a 198 and Tucker County placed third as a team with a score of 199. Webster County finished fourth with a team score of 211. Carleigh Bolyard led Tucker County with a score of 43 followed by Easton Snyder(45), Connor Nestor(54), Holden Young(57), Myles Paugh(57) and Nathan Dearborn(61).
CANAAN VALLEY – Tucker County hosted Southern Garrett at Canaan Valley Resort on Tuesday August 22nd and handed the Rams their first regular season loss in 2 years. Tucker County’s Carleigh Bolyard was low medalist in the match with a score of 37. This allowed Tucker County to capture the match with a team score of 173 compared the Southern team score of 174. Other scores for Tucker County: Easton Snyder(45), Holden Young(45), Connor Nestor(46), Myles Paugh(48), John Anderson(56), Nathan Dearborn(58) and Wyatt Betler(59).
CANAAN VALLEY – Tucker County hosted 3 teams in a match at Canaan Valley Resort on Thursday August 24th. The Mt. Lions picked up the match victory with a team score of 174. Petersburg followed in second with a 184, Gilmer County placed third at 188 and Moorefield placed fourth with a 190. Tucker County was led by Carleigh Bolyard with a 41. Other scores for Tucker County: Easton Snyder(42), Connor Nestor(43), Holden Young(48), Myles Paugh(52), John Anderson(55), Wyatt Betler(57) and Nathan Dearborn(63).
