TUCKER VALLEY SOFTBALL OPENED SEASON WITH 6-0 WIN

The Tucker Valley Middle School Softball team opened the season at Doddridge County on Friday March 23rd. The Lady Wildcats picked up the win by the final score of 6-0.

Paige Shaffer pitched a complete game and gave up just 2 hits while striking out 6 batters. The defense performed well also as they committed no errors. Tucker Valley was led at the plate by Rachel Felton with 2 hits and 3 runs scored. Shaleigh Darlington also had 2 hits including a triple in the second inning to bring home the first run of the game. Tucker Valley will be back in action on Thursday March 29th as they travel to Elkins for a game starting at 5pm. For more info visit TuckerCountySports.Com.
