Cindy and Jon Robeson, proprietors of StumpTown Ales in Davis, are excited to announce the relocation of their brewery to the Tucker County Industrial Park, located a few miles east of Davis on Route 48.
Stump Town Ale, specializing in IPAs, was opened in August of 2015 with a 10 gallon brewery system. Over the past two and half years, with the assistance of brewers, Jeff Melnick and Matt Marcus, they have expanded to a 10 bbl system. This move to the Industrial Park will allow for additional fermintators, as well as the addition of a small canning line for eventual inhouse sales.
This space will also allow Jon to create and experiment with new and experimental brews. The move will also eventually allow for more seating in their brew pub, which will stay in its present location at 390 William Avenue in Davis.
According to Cindy, “ The good thing about this area is that it is a four season area, which keeps a steady business flow. We are extremely happy that we have an equal amount of tourists and locals that frequent our establishment.” She added, “One of our most popular beers offered outside our IPA line is the “Over the Tip Top Breakfast Stout” consisting of coffee, courtesy of Tip Top Coffee in Thomas, topped off with a wonderful touch of chocolate, This is a great example of two businesses working together.”
Cindy also noted, “StumpTown Ales is very happy they will be the next business to relocate and help enhance the Industrial Park. Being able to keep our business in Davis and Tucker County is important to us.”
