The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

  • Karla A. Cosgrill, Lawrenceville, NJ was cited for speeding (69-65) by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Joshua D. Hunt, Hambleton, was cited for speeding (80-65) by TFC J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Travis M. Riggs, Buckhannon, was cited for no insurance and improper registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  Both charges were dismissed with proof shown.
  • Jonathan D. Kirkland, Shepherdstown, was cited for speeding (69-65) by Deputy B.T. Zirk.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Robert W. Hanlon, Kerens, was cited for no proof of insurance by Chief Deputy M., Sigley.  The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Brian C. McCarthy, Albany, Ohio was cited for driving too fast for conditions by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Holly M. Hartman, Elk Garden, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Richard F. Lockhart, Spencer, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Chad B. Lemaster, Hedgesville, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Christopher D. Berman, Williamstown, was cited for failure to maintain control by TFC J.J. Schmidle.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Kelly Jo Lyn Fulton, Thomas, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Kevin L. Unthank, Gambells, Md. was cited for speeding (67-65) by Cpl. J.E. Kopec.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Rose M. Freeman, Parsons, was cited for expire registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

 

The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • William Robert Snyder, Thomas, was charged with one count failure to pay for gasoline. According to the complaint, on Monday, Jan. 14 between the hours of 7:40 and 7:50 a.m. William Robert “Billy” Snyder traveled to Jim’s Allstar where he pumped 8.337 gallons of gasoline totaling $20 in his vehicle.  He walked into the store and spoke with an employee informing her that he would come back and pay for the fuel at a later time.  She advised another employee of the situation and the second employee told him he must pay now.  He was previously told that he would not get anymore credit.  He stood by the counter for a few minutes, exited the store and left the premises.  He posted a $2,500 PR bond.

 

The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • Kisamore Properties LLC verses Poling:  On Jan. 14 the court ruled in favor of Kisamore Properties LLC in the amount of $3,582.24 against Donald A. Poling.
  • State of West Virginia verses Robert D. Poling, Jr.: Davis, received judgment of no contest plea for one count making, issuing worthless checks which occurred on June 8, 2018.  He was assessed fines of $1, cost and fees of $190.25 and must make restitution of $26.65.
