THOMAS – The Wildcats Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Davis-Thomas for a pair of games on Tuesday January 15th. In the first contest the Tucker Valley JV team got the win 38-25. Gavin Mullenax led Tucker Valley with 18 points. In the Varsity game Tucker Valley also picked up the victory by the final score of 62-37. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Dominick Mullenax with 25 points in the win for Tucker Valley.
BAKER – Tucker Valley traveled to East Hardy on Wednesday January 16th for a JV and Varsity contest. In the JV game the Wildcats picked up the victory over the Cougars 58-54. Gavin Mullenax led Tucker Valley with 16 points in the JV win. Tucker Valley got a 67-24 blowout win in the second game of the night. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Dominick Mullenax with 16 points.
PARSONS – On Friday January 18th the Wildcats hosted Pendleton County for 2 games. In the JV game Tucker Valley got the win by the final score of 44-20. Owen Knotts led the Wildcats in scoring with 12 points in the victory. The Varsity team also took home the win by the final score of 60-37. Ashton Lycliter led the Tucker Valley Varsity team in scoring with 17 points.
PETERSBURG – Tucker Valley went on the road to Petersburg on Wednesday January 23rd. In the JV contest Tucker Valley picked up the win in a close game 26-25. The Wildcats JV were led in scoring by Garrett Wilfong with 7 points. In the Varsity game Tucker Valley fell in the contest by the final score of 42-37. Ashton Lycliter, Dominick Mullenax and Rory Nestor finished with 8 points each for Tucker Valley in the loss.
HAMBLETON – The Wildcats hosted Davis-Thomas at TCHS on Saturday January 26th. In the JV contest Tucker Valley picked up the win in a close game 19-16. Owen Knotts and Gavin Mullenax led the Wildcats with 6 points each. The Tucker Valley Varsity team got the win over Davis-Thomas also by the final score of 54-43. Ashton Lycliter led the Wildcats in scoring with 18 points.
