The trees and shrubs that are blooming are beautiful but they are reeking havoc on everyone’s allergies. I was on my way home and passed through something that was blooming and I could smell it. I starting sneezing and thought I was going to blow my nose off my face. My brother is a basket case with his allergies and I have to feel for him. Mom was the same way, especially with apple tree blossoms. Momma Said, “I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
I used to be so bad that my eyes would swell shut. I took shots for years and I am not so bad now. Mt brother is taking shots now and he said he tested positive for everything except food. I guess I could find him a gas mask to wear. Either that or he may have to move to Arizona. I hate to see the blossoms go away but maybe it will slow down the spread of so much pollen.
I have heard that Tea Tree Oil helps with sinus problems. I am going to do some research into this so maybe I can help him feel better. It is no fun not being able to breathe so I hope I can find something that will help with his problem. I have more problems than the sneezing because I start to itch all over and it is enough to drive a person crazy. The only other alternative is to have winter 12 months a year. NOT!!!
I love spring and I will put up with a lot of nonsense just to see the sunshine and temperatures to warm up. It is invigorating to get outside and enjoy everything the world has to offer. I went to the woods with my brother and his dog and that is the first time I have done that in years. It felt good to see the dog run and just enjoy the freedom this country has to offer. Momma Said, “Sometimes you can see the forest for the trees, especially if you are in the forest.”
