Air Force Airman First Class Joshua E. Phillips has completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The eight week program included training in military discipline and studies. Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Phillips was an honor graduate and airman who completed basic training, earning four credits toward an Associate Degree in Applied Science through the community college of the Air Force.
Airman Phillips is now stationed at Keesler A.F.B., Mississippi, where he is in a 13 week course studying Cyber Computer.
He is the son of James and Thelma Phillips of Kathleen, Ga. and the grandson of Edward and Sharon Phillips of Parsons.
