Pvt. Joshua Hockman, of Holly Meadows, recently graduated from basic training in Fort Benning, Ga. A 2008 graduate of Tucker County High School, Hockman joined the United States Army in October.
Currently on leave, Hockman will return to Fort Benning in January for four weeks of AIT. After graduation he will take three weeks of Airman Training.
Hockman is the son of Scott and Karen Kines Hockman of Holly Meadows, the grandson of Jack and Linda Hockman of Parsons and Prema and the late Walter Kines of Leadmine. Hockman has one sister, Emma Jo Hockman of Holly Meadows.
