ROMNEY – The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Romney on Monday January 27th. In the JV contest the visiting Wildcats picked up the win by the final score of 37-29. Nate Ricottilli led Tucker Valley with 10 points and Same Marks added 7 points for the Tucker Valley JV in the win. In the varsity game Tucker Valley got the win in a close contest 28-27. Ethan Rosenau led Tucker Valley with 12 points and Ashton Lycliter added 10 points in the Wildcats win.
HAMBLETON – The Wildcats Boys’ Basketball teams hosted Kasson for a varsity only game on Thursday January 30th. In the game Tucker Valley cruised to an easy win by the score of 50-19. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Ashton Lycliter and Jeremiah Wratchford with 10 points each in the Wildcats Varsity win.
HAMBLETON – The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball teams hosted Davis-Thomas at TCHS gym on Saturday February 1st. In the JV game Tucker Valley fell in the contest by the final score of 34-27. Mickey Mitchell led the Wildcats JV with 11 points and Xander Lambert added 6 points for the Tucker Valley JV in the loss. In the Varsity game Tucker Valley pulled away for the 59-32 victory. Ashton Lycliter led Tucker Valley in scoring with 21 points. Owen Knotts, Ethan Rosenau and Jeremiah Wratchford added 8 points each for the Wildcats in the win.
Tucker Valley(13-0) will return to action on Friday February 7th at Capon Bridge. The Wildcats will then host Tygarts Valley on Monday February 10th. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
