Adam Ray Arbogast, age 37 years, a resident of the Pheasant Run Community, Kerens, WV departed this life Thursday, November 25, 2021, at his home.
He was born Tuesday, November 2, 1984, at Elkins, WV, a son of Cletus Ray and Rebecca Sue Vandevender Arbogast.
Surviving are one daughter, Amberlynn Rose Arbogast; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a graduate of Tucker County High School with the class of 2003. He attended the Corrections Academy and had worked at Huttonsville Correctional Center and Timberline Resort as a guard. He was an E.M.T. and was currently working at the Tucker County 911 Center as dispatcher and Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Parsons, WV. He was a member of the Parsons Volunteer Fire Department for over twenty years. He attended the Irons Chapel Church. Adam had a knack at working electronics and enjoyed riding ATV’s and hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time at the fire department with his friends, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his daughter.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Wednesday from 4 PM to 7 PM. final rites will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11 AM. The Reverend Justin Jones and The Reverend J. Michael Lantz will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons Family Cemetery at Shavers Fork. The family suggest that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the Parsons Volunteer Fire Dept., 216 Main Street, Parsons, WV 26287.
