DAVIS-THOMAS GIRLS’ AND BOYS’ BASKETBALL UPDATE

The Davis-Thomas Boys’ team captured the Union Tournament Championship on Feb. 18th.  The 8th Grade members of the Boys’ team are as follows: Emmet Felton, Cayden Arnold, Dominick Delsignore, Gabe Oliver, Drew Simmons and Colin Fortney.  Photo submitted by Dustin Luzier.

THOMAS – The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams hosted Kasson on Monday February 13th.  In the Girls’ game Davis-Thomas picked up the win 48-12. Peyton Cross and Hailey Crossland led the Lady Bears with 14 points each in the win.  In the Boys’ game the Bears won 63-27.  Emmet Felton led Davis-Thomas with 19 points and Cayden Arnold had 15 points for the Bears in the victory. 

THOMAS – The Bears Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams played at home on Tuesday February 14th.  The Girls’ team played host to Keyser.  The Lady Bears fell to Keyser by the score of 50-18.  Peyton Cross led Davis-Thomas with 6 points and Izzy Kitzmiller added 5 points in the loss for the Lady Bears.

In the second game of the night the Bears hosted South Preston.  Davis-Thomas got the win by the final score of 67-20.  Emmet Felton led the Bears with 21 points and Cayden Arnold had 13 points in the win for Davis-Thomas.

 

  1. STORM – The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to the Union Tournament on Thursday February 16th.  In the Girls’ game the Lady Bears defeated Keyser 6th grade 31-12.  Izzy Kitzmiller led Davis-Thomas with 14 points and Peyton Cross added 10 points in the win for the Lady Bears.  In the Boys’ game Davis-Thomas got the win over Aurora 38-20.  The Bears were led in scoring by Cayden Arnold with 10 points.  

 

  1. STORM – The Bears Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams returned to the Union Tournament on Saturday February 18th to play in the Championship games.  In the Girls’ game Davis-Thomas picked up the win over Union 32-20.  Izzy Kitzmiller led the Lady Bears with 11 points and Bella Rivera added 8 points in the win for Davis-Thomas.  In the Boys’ Championship game the Bears got the win over Union 54-28.  Cayden Arnold led the Bears with 16 points and Emmet Felton added 12 points for Davis-Thomas in the win.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
