CAMP KIDD – The Tucker Valley Softball team hosted West Preston on Wednesday March 29th. The Lady Wildcats gave up 2 runs in the 1st inning, but Tucker Valley fought back with 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st to lead after one inning 4-2. West Preston then scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning and 2 runs in the 3rd inning to lead Tucker Valley 9-4 after 3 innings. The Wildcats managed just 2 more runs as opposed to 6 runs by West Preston the rest of the game to make the final score 15-6 West Preston.
Tuttle led Tucker Valley with 2 hits, while Peyton Hicks, Shelby Hicks and Brooklyn Loria added 1 hit each for the Lady Wildcats in the loss. Peyton Hicks was on the mound for Tucker Valley as she struck out 11 in the loss.
