The Parsons Advocate

I am clean, I smell a lot better and I was actually glad to wash dishes.  My brother got my water problem fixed this past weekend and I love him for helping me.  Now when he gets ready to redo his whole water system I will be there with bells on.  Momma Said, “God helps those who help themselves…but sometimes you need just a little extra help as well.”

I love my family and would do anything for them if I can.  But my brother and I are very close.  We work well together and we get the job done.  I love him because if it is just not quite right, he will work until it satisfies him.  It is great to have someone who comes when you need help.

He has old galvanized pipe in his house and thankfully he has a basement, so not crawling around in the dirt.  He wants to re-plumb everything from the water heater out.  He has no water pressure and I am sure those old pipes are corroded almost shut.  He get new Pecs pipe in there and the pressure will blow his hair back for sure.  Momma Said, “He will be squeaky clean for sure.”

I am just so glad to get that monkey off my back and have no worries about having no water.  Water is an essential part of daily life and you take amenities for granted until you don’t have them.  I don’t know how many times I walked to the sink and turned the faucet without thinking.  Momma Said, “Never take anything for granted be it utilities, friends and especially your family, you never know what is going to happen in the future.”
