Hallie M. Oxley, Sr., 79, of Parkersburg, WV, formerly of Davis, WV passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sharon J. Oxley; son, Hallie M. Oxley, Jr (Monty) and his wife, Maria; grandsons, Armando, Marcus, D’Anthony, Alexander and Matthew; granddaughter, Arian; 16 great-grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; and many family members and friends. Mr. Oxley was a proud U.S. Army veteran and Green Beret. A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, VA 23002.
