Jacalyn “Jackie” Rae Crawford Cale, 69, a former resident of Parsons and more recently a resident of Grafton, passed from this life Monday, February 10, 2025, at Rosewood Center in Grafton following an extended illness.
Jackie was born Thursday, September 15, 1955, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Basil Rae Crawford, Sr. and Velma Doretta Murphy Crawford Kroat.
Left to cherish Jackie’s memory is one daughter, Jasmine Southern and husband Chad, of Bridgeport, two sisters, Dorothy Carr of Parsons and Mary Jane Linton and husband, Ed, of Lancaster, SC, one brother, Basil Crawford, Jr. and wife, Maggie, of Charleston, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Picky, of thirteen years.
Jackie was a graduate of Parsons High School with the class of 1975. She had attended Davis and Elkins College where she obtained her LPN certification. She had worked as a nurse and a massage therapist. She enjoyed painting, gardening, playing with her dog, Picky, and researching her genealogy. She had attended the First United Methodist Church of Parsons.
