Paul Edward Clute

Paul Edward Clute, age 65 years, a resident of Hambleton, WV departed this life Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2025 at Mon Health Medical Center at Morgantown, WV with his loving family at his side.  He had been in declining health since December although death was unexpected.

He was born Thursday, June 4, 1959, at Akron, OH, a son of the late Doy Edward Clute and Helen Bragg Barnhouse.  He was twice married.  First to the former Marilyn Lorraine Helmick, who preceded him in death August 4, 2013.  On August 8, 2024 at Albright, WV, he was married to the former Cheryll Diane Bucklew, who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Crystal Coleman of Summersville, Donna Boyles and husband John, Steve Mitchell and wife Betty, Chris “Peanut” Mitchell, all of Parsons; two brothers, William “Bill” Hoover and wife Sissy of Chester, PA, and Roy Clute and companion Crystal of Leesburg, FL., thirteen grandchildren, John A. Boyles and companion Kayla, Phillip Boyles and wife Cierra, Jeffrey Boyles, Stevie Mitchell and wife Angie, Mikie Mitchell and wife Brittany, Tiffany Kresge and husband Harper, Josh Mitchell and companion Mindy, Zach Mitchell, Damon Mitchell, Ellie Mitchell and Christopher Mitchell, Erica Harden and husband Jerad, and Autumn Byuse; and twenty four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He attended the schools at Akron, OH and Summersville, WV.  After school he worked for the carnival, and worked for Shop n Save and Dollar General for many years.  He attended Together 4 Christ Ministries in Kingwood.  Paul was an avid collector and enjoyed fishing and camping.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and he loved the holidays.

Mr. Clute’s request for cremation will be honored.  The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of the arrangements for Paul Edward Clute.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com
