The TCHS boys’ basketball team played two games this past week. The first game was on the road against a formidable opponent, the Pendleton County Wildcats. Tucker found themselves in an early hole as Pendleton led 13–7 after one, but the Mt. Lions were able to get some offense going in the second to head to halftime down eight, at 29–21. Tucker outscored the Wildcats 23–21 in the third period to cut the lead to six at 50–44 going into the final frame. Pendleton, as a team, hit six threes in the game for an overall percentage of 60% from behind the arc; they proved to be too much for Tucker on this night, winning 70–63.
