Members of the Mountaineer Garden Club spent Monday morning placing our red, white and blue flowers around Main Street in Parsons in recognition of our Country’s 250 th Anniversary. We used white begonias, red Mandevilla, and blue salvia. We added Old Glory to the planters. They are eye catching. In addition we also planted zinnias and begonias in the other planters around town and at the Parsons entrances. Thanks to Bonnie Watkins Smith, Linda Shahan-Sherman and Faith Moore . A special thank you to Crystal Bilby Nelson who organized the selection of plants, purchasing and planting. Thanks for the support ftom Mike Simmons, Parsons city manager.
