At the St. George Senior Outpost on September 21, Kim Ledden from the Tucker County Health Department spoke about the various vaccines being recommended especially for seniors. She mentioned the various services offered by the Health Department including food handler classes and free flu vaccines.
Tim Turner, Executive Director of the Tucker County Senior Centers, spoke on services being offered to seniors. Jane Pifer and Carol Weinstein provided funny readings. Door prizes were won by April Fitzwater, Betty Sturm, Shirley Cassidy, and Don Nestor.
Attending in addition to the above were Anna Fitzwater, Mabel Fitzwater, Linda Bonner, Pete Kuhn, Virginia Popio, Sue Carroll, Phyllis Turner, Dale Varner, Raymond Collins, Fred Jones, Brenda Jones, Janice F. Poling, James C. Poling and Eleanor Nestor.
Seniors are invited to come, bring a covered dish, and enjoy good food, fun, and fellowship at the October 19, 2023 gathering at 6:00 pm at the St. George Community Church.
