The Parsons Outpost of the Tucker County Senior Citizens will host their October 1 meeting and covered dish lunch promptly at 10:30 a.m. We ask that you try to come early as we have a special program planned and we hope that you will be here to enjoy the entire event.
As you may already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year the Parsons Senior Center in conjunction with the Tucker County CEOS, The West Virginia University Extension Service Tucker County Office and the Tucker County Health Department read a proclamation, hang a wreath and sponsor a program at the senior center outpost to recognize this special month.
Along with the Breast Cancer Program, we expect a visit from the Mountaineer State Cloggers for a really entertaining program. Please plan to bring your covered dish to share and help make the event extra special and also enjoy the fellowship with friends and neighbors.
