We are encouraging seniors to get out and enjoy the spring and summer weather that is on the horizon. There is nothing better than the beautiful outdoor weather and the opportunity to walk, exercise and work outside to help us feel better.

Before performing exerting work or exercise, especially after a long layoff it is advisable to check with your doctor, and of course to keep check on your blood pressure. Both Mountain Hospice and Hospice Care Corporations are planning to help make blood pressure clinics available at both the Mountain Top and Parsons sites.

A schedule for the blood pressure check clinics will be forthcoming. We encourage our participants to stop by the centers on the designated days and take advantage of these free opportunities.

We are also working with the Wellness Center to encourage participation in the Silver Sneaker Program and promote
