The trip to Stonewall Lake near Weston is August 23th. The boat trip is 2 hours and includes a taco bar lunch. The price will be $90. If you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible. We will be collecting for this trip in July. All payments must be made by July 28, 2022.
Due to contract issues at the state level, we will not receive the Farmer Market vouchers until the end of July. We will be giving these out beginning August 2, 2022. Please come to the Parsons Center or Mt. Top Center during regular operating hours and someone will help you. You will have all of August and September to redeem these vouchers. It is important that we use these vouchers or the number of vouchers we receive next year will be reduced.
There will be a free Legal Estate Planning Workshop at the Parsons Senior Center on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Brent Van Deysen from Morgantown will be here to explain about Powers of Attorney, Wills, Deeds, Estate Planning etc. He will NOT be preparing any of these documents but will speak to the group and if time allows, he can speak to individuals privately. Pam Krushansky from the Attorney General’s Office will be at the Parsons Center on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 11:00 until noon. She will be at Flanagan Hill on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from noon until 1:00. The Goldenaires choir will be at Flanagan Hill at 11:30 on the 27th also so come early and enjoy some great entertainment.
