Parsons Senior Center outpost was held on November 5, 2024. Linda Bonner welcomed everyone, folks recited the Lord’s Prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, and sang “God Bless America.” For those celebrating birthdays this month, everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to David Sharp, Arlene Ramsey, and Patty Wilfong.
Linda provided a reading of “Thanksgiving”. Sharon Cassidy gave a reading of “Taking Time”, and Patty Wilfong read “A Tree”. The group lead by Dana Corcoran sang several hymns including “Thank You Lord for Your Blessings”, “The Old Rugged Cross”, “In The Garden”, “Count Your Blessings”, and “Amazing Grace”.
Door prizes were won by Arlene Ramsey, Bob Lambert, Patty Wilfong, Brenda Credal, Ida Workman, Shirley Cassidy, Nellie Workman, and Mabel Fitzwater.
