FLANAGAN HILL OUTPOST

The Flanagan Hill Outpost of the Tucker County Senior Citizens will host their September monthly covered dish event on Wednesday, September 28 at the Flanagan Hill Community Center. Plan to be with us as we share the fellowship and delicious food. The luncheon is served at noon, and we ask that you prepare your special covered dish to share with your friends and make the event extra special.

SHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tucker County Senior Center SHIP Coordinator, Ann Filler, is reminding seniors that it is time to start thinking about your Medicare Part D enrollment and or changes that you may wish to make. If you need help or just need information, Ann is available for a one on one appointment usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is generally at the Mountain Top center on the mornings of the third Tuesday of each month. The time frame to make changes is between October 15 and Decernber 7.
Ann can also help with questions concerning Social Security and low or no cost prescriptions for those who qualify and have no prescription insurance.

2017 NEW YORK TRIP

We have received a great response from people interested in a trip to New York in 2017. The travel committee will be making plans and as soon as a date, itinerary, and price are confirmed we will be contacting those on the list in the order that they are placed to see if they are still interested. We will continue to take names for the list. We will keep you informed as plans progress.

FLU SHOT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Saint George Clinic has announced that it will sponsor flu shot clinics at both the Parsons and Mt. Top Senior Centers in October. The Parsons Clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3 and the Mt. Top Center event will be held Tuesday, October 25. Both events will begin at 8:00 am. Please keep these dates marked, and we will keep you posted as more flu shot information is announced.
