TRIP PAYMENT REMINDER
The Travel Committee will be collecting payments for the November 29 Ligonier Country Christmas Trip and also the December 8 Gandy Dancer Elvis Christmas Dinner Show on Thursday, October 6 from 9:30am – 11 :OOam. Please give us a call if you need to make other arrangements.
As of now we still have a few reseNations left for the December 8 Gandy Dancer Christmas Diner Show. If you are interested please give us a call. The seats will be sold on a first come first seNe basis.
SENIOR CENTERS CLOSED FOR COLUMBUS DAY HOLIDAY
The Tucker County Senior Centers will be closed on Monday, October 10 in obseNance of the Columbus Day Holiday. The centers will be open on the usual schedule on Tuesday, October11.
MOUNTAIN TOP CENTER CELEBRATING OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS
The Mountain Top Center will be giving special recognition to participants celebrating birthdays in the month of October on Tuesday, October 11 in conjunction with lunch. We will sing happy birthday wishes to the honored guests and a special cake provided by Hospice Care Corporation will be seNed to all in attendance.
WEST VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS ASSISTANCE
West Virginia D V A Representative Tom Crist is scheduled to visit the Parsons Senior Center on Thursday, October 13 to help clients with veteran benefit concerns. He usually arrives about 9:30am and his office is located on the bottom floor of the center.
PIGEON FORGE DOLLYWOOD ITENERARIES
We are in the process of putting together the trip packets for the November 14 – 18 trip to Pigeon Forge / Dollywood. We will notify you as soon as they are ready for pickup.
