We are considering a possible trip to Adaland Mansion in Philippi on August 10th for an Arts and Craft Fair. This will give you a chance to buy some new decorations for your home or perhaps start your Christmas shopping early. If you are interested, please call 304-478-2423 and get your name on the list. PARSONS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
The Parsons Center will be celebrating their monthly birthday day for those having birthdays in June. Please join us for delicious cake provided by WV Caring and singing by the Goldenaires Choir.
GEORGE OUTPOST
The St. George Outpost will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 6:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in St. George. We invite all residents of the St. George area (and throughout the county) to bring their favorite covered dish and join us for a time of great fun, food, and fellowship.
AARP CLASS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 25TH AND 26TH
This is just a reminder that the Parsons Center will be holding the AARP Safe Driving class on Monday and Tuesday of next week from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. If you have signed up please remember to attend. We can take some walk-ins if you forgot to sign up.
TOP INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The Mt. Top Center will be celebrating Independence Day on Tuesday, June 26th at 10:45 A.M. We invite you to come and join us as we honor America and the freedoms we have.
REPRESENTATIVE FROM ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE IN PARSONS
The representative from the Attorney General’s Office will be at the Parsons Senior Center on Thursday, June 28th at 10:30 a.m. to discuss scams and elder abuse. She will also have forms if you need to register a complaint about a company or business. Please join us for this informative presentation.
MANDATORY NUTRITION PROGRAM
The State Department will be sending a representative to the Parsons Center on Thursday, June 21st at 11:15 a.m. to do a mandatory Nutrition program. Please join us for this informative program. This is a state requirement.
FLANAGAN HILL OUTPOST
We will be holding our monthly Outpost at Flanagan Hill on Wednesday, June 27th at noon. Please bring your favorite covered dish and join us for great fun, food, and fellowship.
GOLDENAIRES CHOIR
Our Goldenaires Choir will be singing at Mill Race along with other gospel groups and individuals on Friday evening June 22nd at approximately 6:30 p.m. Please bring your lawn chair and enjoy lots of great gospel entertainment.
