ALABASTER PRODUCTIONS PROGRAM AT PARSONS SENIOR CENTER
The Alabaster Productions entertainment group will be at the Parsons Senior Center on Tuesday, July 3rd promptly at 10:30 a.m. This group does musical programs throughout the year around Pennsylvania. We have traveled to PA several times to enjoy their music. Those trips usually cost about $100 per person which includes lunch. They are coming here at no costto you for our covered dish lunch for Outpost. This is a very special Patriotic program. We would love to have a large crowd so please bring your favorite covered dish and join us for this extra special program.
POSSIBLE TRIP TO ADALAND
We are considering a possible trip to Adaland Mansion in Philippi on August 10th for an Arts and Craft Celebration. This will give you a chance to buy some new decorations for your home or perhaps start your Christmas shopping early. If you are interested, please call 304-478-2423 and get your name on the list. REPRESENTATIVE FROM ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE IN PARSONS
The representative from the Attorney General’s Office will be at the Parsons Senior Center on Thursday, June 28th at 10:30 a.m. to discuss scams and elder abuse. She will also have forms if you need to register a complaint about a company or business. Please join us for tis informative presentation.
WVU FOOTBALL GAME
We are taking names of people interested in going to the WVU football game on October 25, 2018 against Baylor. This is an evening game. The price will be approximately $ 85 to $100 depending on how many people sign up. Our tickets include $6.25 for concessions. If you are interested, please call 304-4768-2423 immediately to sign up so we know exactly how many tickets to order.
COLLECTION DATES FOR “SWEET COUNTRY ROADS” TRIP
We will be collecting for this trip on July 5th and August 2nd. Between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The total price is $120 or 2 payments of $60 each. The trip is October 8th.
HOLIDAY CLOSING
Both Tucker County Senior Centers will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 for Independence Day. They will reopen at the regular time on Thursday.
PARSONS INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The Parsons Senior Center will have their Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, June 28th. This will get the holiday started off early with music and readings about our Independence. Please join us at 10:30a.m. Our Goldenaires Choir will start off our program with several songs.
