Good News! We still have a few more Farmers Market Coupons. We will be giving them out until they are gone. Due to COVID, we have been given rules that we must follow. For our Parsons Center, starting Monday, July 6th between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, we will do a drive-thru pick up of coupons in our parking lot. You cannot exit your vehicle; someone from the Center will come to you. You will need to call ahead to let us know you are coming or call when you are in the parking lot to let us know you are here. You may send someone to pick these up for you with a written note giving that person permission to do so. This note also needs to have your name, address, phone number, date of birth, and your monthly income included. We will distribute coupons daily until they are gone, so it is best to call before you come.
If you live in the Thomas/Davis/Canaan Valley area and you want Farmers Market Coupons, please call our Parsons Center at 304-478-2423 and we will make arrangements for you to get them as long as they are available. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call us.
We are asking you to hold any trip payments for future trips until we notify you. We may have to ask for a couple payments at one time. Just put the money “in the cookie jar” until we are able to take payments again. We may have to ask for more than 1 payment at a time. We will let you know when we find out something.
Are you interested in improving some of your skills or gaining some new knowledge? The Adult Education Center is offering classes and individual help for adults in the basement of the Board of Education Office Building. The sessions are Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 until 4:00 OR 5:00 until 7:30. If you are interested, you can also earn a GED if you need one. For more details contact Lynda Gray at 304-614-7802.
