Veterans ID Cards
The new veteran identification card is a wallet sized proof of veteran status intended to be a substitute for a paper document given to all veterans upon discharge. The card is to be used as proof without carrying around the present DD-214. If you would like more information about obtaining a card call the VA Clinic at 304-478-2219.
Climb with Cortland
Learn all about the Tucker Boulder Park Project, 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 8 in the Dining Room at Cortland Acres. Presented by the Tucker Community Foundation with help from the Mountain Laurel Learning Cooperative climbers. Open to the public. Light refreshments.

Auditions for A Christmas Carol
The Community Theater Ensemble of Voices From The Earth will have auditions for A Christmas Carol from 6-7 p.m. on Dec. 2 & 3 at the Thomas Education Center. Dickens’ classic story of family and the Christmas spirits will be presented in Thomas as a radio-show styled reading on December 12.
