The Tucker County 4-H Teen Leaders are gearing up for what we hope will become their annual fundraiser. On November 23, they will be hosting a Buckwheat Cakes and Sausage Dinner at St. Paul’s Church in Parsons from 3  to 7 p.m. Stop by and enjoy a delicious meal while helping our teens raise money for their various projects.

This past year, the Teen Leaders have worked hard at Camp Kidd by making improvements to the Council Circle, and by rebuilding Vesper Knoll. They were also very helpful in getting the facilities ready prior to 4-H camp, and helped out during fair week.  In addition to the Buckwheat Dinner, the teens will be selling raffle tickets for a four leaf clover chainsaw carving. If you are interested in purchasing tickets contact one of the teen leaders, or Dee Stevens at 304-516-1825, or Cindy Harsh at 304-614-8171. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Officers for 2014 are: President– Lydia Mullenax, V. President– Jenna White, Treasurer/Sec.– Kaylee Nedrow, Reporter– Madison Mullenax
