The Tucker County Historical Society is sponsoring a program on the history of early American religious music in the mountains. All are welcome to come to the Parsons Depot on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 2 p.m. to listen, learn and participate in music like the early settlers in Appalachia. The program will feature members of the Joyful Noise and a special hammered dulcimer presentation by Frank Dotson. After the program, all are invited to stay for an afternoon of singing and playing on instruments you are welcome to bring with you. A piano will be available.
