Hospice Care Corporation is busy planning The Rowlesburg Community Health Fair is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 from 7 to 11 a.m.. Co-sponsored with Hospice Care and the Rowlesburg Revitilization Committee (RRC), this health fair will be held at the Szilagyi Center (old Rowlesburg School) in Rowlesburg.
The following screenings will be offered for free: Blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose will be free. Other screenings will be offered for a low fee. Mutiphasic panel will cost $33, Thyroid Profile $25, Hemoglobin A1c $13, Vitamin D $26 and a PSA screening will cost $23. Other tests also available. However, Hospice Care is looking for other organizations to offer free or low cost screenings for skin cancer, asthma and vision testing. Other organizations providing services and information that affects people’s health is encouraged to participate.
