Mountaineer Garden Club Anniversary
The 60th Anniversary of the Mountaineer Garden Club will be Thursday, Sept. 6, from 4-6 p.m. at Piccolo Paula’s. Light refreshments will be served and door prizes will be available. Everyone welcome.
DWD evening of fellowship and fun
On Monday, September 10, at Parsons Senior Center at 6 p.m. DWD participants are invited to return for a fun filled evening of fellowship and continued education.
Bring a diabetic friendly covered dish to share with the group. If you submit your recipe a head of time they will be compiled and made available for everyone to take home.
The guest speaker will be Karen Bright, WVU Extension Service Nutrition Outreach Instructor and she will be sharing healthy alternatives while cooking.

The exhibition Birds as Bellwether, will open Saturday, Sept. 8 through Sept. 29 at the Aurora General Store in Aurora. The exhibition is open weekends 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and during the week by appointment.
