Revival

Rev. Don and Wilma Mullens will host a revival at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Sept. 26, 27 and 28 at the Pentecostal Church of God in Hambleton.

Jake’s Day Event

Jake’s Day event will from 9 a.m. – ? on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Izaac Walton League Park at Sugar Camp Rd. For info call 681-435-9023

Flu Shot Clinics

Tucker County Health Department will have flu shot clinics Tuesday, Oct. 2 at First United Methodist Church in Parsons from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and Thursday Oct. 4 at Davis Fire Hall from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Seasonal flu shots will be given to anyone 18 years of age and older. If you have Medicare or insurance, bring your card, you will not be charged any co-pay. If you don’t have insurance, you can still receive a flu shot at no cost.

Veteran’s Assistance

WVDVA Veterans Services officer Tom Crist will meet with veterans and family members on the second Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The next meeting will be Thursday Oct. 11 at The Parsons City Building 341 Second Street 1st floor. For appointments call 304-637-0235 Elkins office of West Virginia Department of Veteran’s Assistance.
Roundhouse Site Clean Up

On September 22 at 10 a.m., help Friends of Blackwater clean up a historic structure along the Blackwater Canyon rail grade. Meet at office on Douglas Road. We will provide tools and snacks. This event is presented in partnership with the Forest Service, and you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the site from an archeologist. Book Signing

Donna Andes will be signing copies of her autobiography “I Would Do It All Again” at the Cortland Acres’ gift shop on Friday, September 21 at 1p.m.

Movie Night Monday

Monthly Sing

The monthly sing of the St. George United Methodist Charge will be Saturday, September 22 at the St. George United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
