There will be a Pepperoni Roll Dinner on Saturday, March 19 from 11 a.m. – ? at Hambleton United Methodist Church. $5 meal plus any donation. Includes pepperoni roll, mac & cheese, soup, dessert, and drink. Benefits the Children’s Church
Pay As You Can Summer Camp
Pay As You Can Summer Camp hosted by The Mountain Institute for middle and high school students. Participants will earn community service hours while on a 6 day camping, caving, and conservation expedition. Sign up today!
Upcoming events at St. John’s in Davis
Monday through Friday mornings (Mar 21-25), St. John’s on Blackwater Ave. in Davis is holding morning matins and scripture study at the church at 9 a.m. Thursday morning, March 24, will be at the Sawmill Restaurant at 9 a.m. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services will be at 7 p.m. Easter Sunrise service will be at 7 p.m. at Pendleton Point in Blackwater Falls State Park (rain place is the Blackwater Lodge). Easter service at St. John’s is at 11 a.m. with special music (handbells and choir). An Easter Egg Hunt for children will be held at 10 a.m. in the yard of St. John’s. Easter brunch will follow the service at noon.
Homecoming King and Queen Contest
The Parsons Volunteer Fire Department Homecoming King and Queen final sign up date is March 19 at 5:30 p.m. Open to all young ladies and gentlemen ages 4 – 12 years old. Come sign up and enjoy some ice cream and maybe win a cake.

St. John’s United Methodist Youth and Adult Choirs will have an Easter Program on Sunday, March 20 at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome.
TVEMS 2016 Musical-Aladdin
Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School will perform the Musical – Aladdin on March 22 and 23 at 6 p.m. in the TVEMS Gymnasium. $5 -Adults; $3 -children 4-12; Free-children 3 and under. Everyone welcome.
Moose Effort
Elkins Moose Effort #391 will meet in the Elkins Library Community Room on Saturday March 12 at 2 p.m. All new and former members are invited to attend. All interested persons are also invited to attend. This meeting will be a organizational meeting to finalize the signing of Charter Members. Davis Community Center Easter Event
Davis Community Center Easter Event will be on March 19, 2016 beginning at noon. Admission is one Canned Food Item for the local Food Pantry. Door prizes for the kids, Easter Egg Hunt for children Ages 0 – 12, Silent & Chinese Auctions, Easter Basket Walk. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance.

Lenten Fish Fry
Lenten Fish Fry, Friday, March 18, at Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St. Thomas Center, in Thomas from 4 to 6 p.m. Meal includes 8oz. fish, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8. Eat in or carry out, at both locations.
Prayer and Healing Service
A prayer and healing service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Parsons on Sunday, March 20, at 7 p.m. This service, as always, is open to all denominations, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. These services are held the third Sunday evening of each month.
