Cake Walk

The Parsons Chapter 91 OES will sponsor a cake walk at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17 at the Courthouse Square.

Farmers Market

Farmers Market will be open Thursdays at Mill Race Park and Saturdays at the Courthouse from 9 a.m. – noon. We have local farm fresh vegetables.

Monthly Sing

The monthly sing at St. George United Methodist Charge will be July 17 at 7 p.m., at Union Chapel United Methodist Church on Clover Run. Everyone welcome.

PVFD Chicken Burn

The Parsons Volunteer Fire Department will have a Chicken Burn on July 24 during the Car Show. Dinners will be ready at 1 p.m. Meal consists of ½ chicken, two sides, dinner roll, dessert and water. Only $10.
Preservation Society Meeting

The St. George Academy Preservation Society will hold an important meeting at the Academy building on Sunday, July 18 at 2 p.m. New officers will be elected and the public is invited.

“Knights of North Castle” Vacation Bible School

St. John’s United Methodist Church in Parsons will be hosting “Knights of North Castle” Vacation Bible School from July 26 – 30 from 6 – 8 p.m. with a program and picnic on the July 30Everyone welcome.

REUNION -Waybright – Teter

The reunion of the late Don Waybright and Irabelle Teter Waybright family will be Sunday, July 25 at the Flanagan Hill Community Building at Red Creek.  Lunch at 12:30 p.m.  Please bring a covered dish and drink to share.  All table supplies will be provided.
