Class of 2017 Annual Chicken Burn Friday, June 17, at D&C Motors Pre Owned Auto & Collison Repair, across from Kidwell’s, in Parsons. ½ Chicken, beans, potato salad, roll, dessert & drink, $10. Chicken will be ready at 4 p.m. Proceeds benefit TCHS Class of 2017

Annual Memorial Service
The Mt. Sarah United Methodist Church (Sinclair Ridge Community) in Rowlesburg will hold its annual memorial service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 26. Picnic lunch at 12:30 p.m. and afternoon service at 1:30 p.m.

Parsons High School Alumni Association Meeting
The Parsons High School Alumni Association will meet at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Little Andi’s Restaurant in Parsons. Will be finalizing alumni banquet and making new plans for next year.
Jr High Football Mini Camp
There will be a football mini camp for any Davis-Thomas or Tucker Valley students entering the 6th- 8th grade on June 20-24 at 6 p.m. at Tucker Valley Middle School.
Commercial Driver’s License Learner’s Permit Prep Course
Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development has scheduled a Commercial Driver’s License Learner’s Permit Prep Course on June 25 and 26 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the College’s Mountaintop Truck Driving Institute in Grantsville.
