Historical Society’s Annual meeting

The Tucker County Historical Society’s Annual meeting will be Sunday, Oct. 8 at 2: p.m. at the Tucker County Historical Society Museum in the Tucker County Annex at 501 Chestnut St., Parsons. Visitors welcome.

An Evening Of Entertainment At The Parsons Depot

The Tucker County Historical Society will host an evening of entertainment at the Parsons Depot on Saturday Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. Dan Barkley and Tom Felton will be featured on stage. Light refreshments will be served.

Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees meeting

The next meeting of the Mountaintop Public Library Board of Trustees will be at the library on Thursday, October 12 at 5 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.

Executive Committee Meeting

The Region VI Workforce Development Board Executive Committee will meet Thursday, Oct. 12 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Region VI Workforce Development Board Office, 17 Middletown Road, White Hall. FFA Elimination Dinner Tickets For Sale

The Tucker County FFA is selling tickets for an Elimination Dinner to be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Tucker County High School. Tickets are $30 each and include dinner for two. Proceeds benefit trip to Indianapolis for National FFA Convention.

4-H Movie Night

4-H Movie Night in the Park will be Friday, Oct. 6 at Mill Race Park at 5:30 p.m. Concession sold by clubs and all are welcome.

Save the Date

Pro On Trac will be holding Christmas Hours Tours in the Parsons area on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5 – 9:30 p.m. We are hoping for one more home in St. George to add to our list. If you are interested in opening up your home to others to view your holiday décor, please call Bonnie at 304-642-8773. Proceeds from the tours help with the revitalization of Parsons.
