Abbreviated Hours
The Mountaintop Public Library will have abbreviated hours between Oct. 23 and Nov. 10. The schedule during this period will be Mon. 10a.m.-3p.m., Tues. 11a.m.-4p.m., Wed. 10a.m.-3p.m., Thurs. 11a.m.-3 p.m., Fri. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Any questions regarding the schedule, please call the Library at 304-463-4582.
Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction
Parsons Church of God will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction, Oct. 22, 2017 from 11a.m. to 1p.m.

Buckwheat and Sausage Dinner
The Maple Spring Family Life Center will have a buckwheat and sausage dinner from 3 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, Rt. 24 in Eglon. Adults: $9, children 6ys – 12 yrs. $4, preschool free. For info contact 304-735-5202.
Storytime
Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge presents the last Storytime of the year on Friday, October 20 at 10 am. The topic is “Hibernation”; there will be a book, craft activities and a snack.
Monthly Sing
The monthly sing of the St. George United Methodist Charge will be held this Saturday, October 21 at Union Chapel at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome.
WV Local Author Book Signing at Five Rivers Public Library

Food Handler’s Class
Tucker County Health department will conduct a Food Handler’s Class at at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Parsons Senior Center on Oct. 25. Those attending the class will be issued a two year permit. There is a $10 registration fee. No late arrivals.
