PVFD Bingo

Parsons Volunteer Fire Department will have Bingo at 7 p.m. on March 10. Doors open at 6 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Tucker County Historical Society meeting

The Tucker County Historical Society will meet Sunday March 11 at 2 p.m. at the Tucker County Historical Society Museum in the Tucker County Annex at 501 Chestnut St., Parsons. Visitors welcome.

Parsons High School Alumni Association meeting

The Parsons High School Alumni Association will meet Thursday, March 8 at Little Andi’s Restaurant, in Parsons at 5 p.m. The annual PHS Alumni banquet will be held on May 26.

Lenten Fish Fry

Lenten Fish Fry, Friday, March 9, at Our Lady of Mercy Social Hall, in Parsons and St Thomas Center, in Thomas from 4 to 6 p.m. 8oz. Fish Fillet, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Fruit Salad, coffee and punch for $8. Eat in or carry out, at both locations.

Buckwheat Dinner

The St. John’s United Methodist Men are having a buckwheat dinner from 4 – 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at the St. John’s United Methodist Church. Dinners are $8.

Pies for Easter

Our Lady of Mercy Church Guild is taking orders for coconut cream, lemon meringue or chocolate pies for $10 each. Place orders by March 19 by calling Melinda at 304-478-3814. Pick up on Friday, March 30 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church Social Hall, Water St in Parsons.
